TFCF Vietnam: Drowning Prevention Campaign
The hot climate in Vietnam leads to a high demand for recreational water activities. However, there is a lack of safe water environments, combined with factors such as lack of attention and insufficient swimming skills, resulting in a significant number of drowning incidents in the country. TFCF and its partner organization, ActionAid Vietnam, conducted drowning prevention activities in three primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City. Approximately 30 children participated in each school. The activities focused on teaching self-rescue techniques in drowning situations and providing guidance on performing resuscitation and first aid for drowning victims. Additionally, we continue to promote basic concepts such as paying attention to water environments, with the hope that children can grow up safely.
