Philippines: Housing Support Program Assessment
In February 2025, TFCF Philippines conducted three rounds of site assessments for applicants of its housing support program. During these visits, staff evaluated not only the physical condition of the houses but also took into account the applicants’ broader social and economic challenges.
The goal of this initiative is to gain a comprehensive understanding of each household’s situation, allowing the program to prioritize the most vulnerable families and ensure that resources are effectively directed to those in greatest need.
For households that pass the evaluation process, TFCF Philippines will provide assistance tailored to improve living conditions in a cost-effective and meaningful way. This may include home repairs, structural reinforcements, or other necessary improvements — all aimed at creating safer and more comfortable living environments for supported families.
