Philippines: Public health lecture on tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is a disease people have heard of but are unfamiliar with. Even though cases of tuberculosis are dropping in Taiwan each year, there were still 7,823 cases in 2020. Tuberculosis is even more commonly seen in countries that have poor public health institutions. According to the report World Health Organization produced in 2020, the Philippines is the No. 4 in Tuberculosis cases. Seeing this phenomenon, TFCF Philippines Branch Office invited an expert on contagious diseases to talk about the treatment for tuberculosis and disease management with our supporting families. We also gave out rice and nutritious fruit and vegetables to our families. We want them to gain knowledge and physical materials to improve their health.
